Default Turtle Tank mates?

I just got a Peninsula Cooter hatchling and he's all alone in a 10 gallon tank. I tried throwing my goldfish in there but they went after the turtle so i put them in a sperate tank. Now hes in there alone and was wondering if he'd enjoy having another hatchling to keep him company or if his species prefer to be alone.
anyone have any idea?

Default Turtle tank mates

I have a range of small shoaling fish that co habit with Freshwater turtles;
These include Guppies, Barbs, Danio's etc
With a Penninsular Cooter, Guppies would not be out of place?
These serve as good general interest, and help keep waste food particles to a minimum.

They cetainly don't need tank mates, but if you really must then go for something small, cheap and fast.
