Default Aldabra Giants

Anybody in the UK keeping Aldabra Giants? I've seen 2 in a private collection and a few in zoos in Bristol and Linton.

Attached is a pic of the monsters in Bristol Zoo.

They truly are the kings of the tortoise world

Beautiful tortoises, only had the pleasure of seeing them at the Cotswolds Wildlife park.

I saw the largest captive population in the world in mauritius last year. They are fantastic & really active & inquisitive:-

The great place about the place I took those pictures is (as you can see) you can get 'up close & personal' with the tortoises & there is no 'barrier' between you & them. You walk through a small gate and 'hey presto' there are 150 massive tortoises who are pretty tame and inquisitive:-
