oh god i have dozens of tortoise things.......i have boxes of them in the loft, in the cupboard, on the shelves.....i have a jewellery box full fo bits too ( poor me, i know!). my favourite is a silver and mother of pearl sea turtle on a necklace. i dont take it off much as it means so much to me, one of the very first things my husband bought me. My very first item ever was a wade tortoise given to me when i was 3 and my nan used to take me on the bus to buy white chocolate tortoises. it involved 2 bus changes but she loved me that much she didnt mind! My nan was always the one to encouage me with the torts. she got me my first tortoise toy as a baby and the last thing she bought me before she died was a powersun lamp for an emergency rehomer. i will try and get some pics of my "tortoise tat" and post some pics today. inculding the ones i won at the weekend of course!

Couldn't even start to list them. Everyone has brought me tortoise items for birthdays, christmas, holidays etc for over 20 years. I have very few doubles and lots of lovely ornaments, toys etc. Every visitor I have to my house asks what the fascination with torts is, this is before they have seen the real ones.

these are just some of the things that have come into my collection this week. the frog pillows arrived today, the rest of it was from the bcg day.

this is a crappy picture, but is without a doubt my fave thing. barry bought it for me a few years ago its quite big and chunky and the only item of jewellery i dont have to worry about the baby breaking or pulling off.

I'm not really a fake tortoise kind of girl but.... I have a beautiful muramic tortoise plaque by hornsea, which is really lovely and then quite a few dotted around the garden.
