Smile Does Anyone Keep Yellow Bellied Sliders?

Does Anyone Keep Yellow Bellied Sliders? Or Does Anyone Breed them? because i want to know where i can get a Albeino one? some time after Xmas because my YBS are going to get my Dragons tank, so ill nhave some room for another one im looking for a young one (around 1" across the shell) so it will be the same sizes as my others.

There is a site that deals in rare morphs of turtle, including two headed turtles and albinos but I can't actually remember it (Will look it out though)
An albino is going to set you back a fair bit - you know that?

Hmm that site doesn't seem to exist anymore. Your best bet is to contact the British Chelonia Group and ask for a list of private breeders in the UK. But you are looking at about £300 for an albino I would reckon.

I think you'll be extremely lucky to find one in the UK, the shop that specialises in albinos etc is in the US, and the cost of buying and importing a single turt from there, assuming it can be done, will be huge!

Yeah its a shame, i only paid £12 each for my YBS, okay does anyone on here breed RES as i would like two of these too, if i cant get a albeino. Like before i wouls like them to youngsters around 1 inch

Albinos of any species are highly sought after and therefore expensive, there have been quite a lot of hatchling RES available this year though, I've seen them in several shops.

I take it you do know how big these sliders get?
