Default Spur-thighed

My african spur-thighed tort is constantly trying to climb up the walls of his enclosure. seems he wants to get out but i dont no why? he has alot of space and food plus all correct temps and lighting. have had him for 5 yrs now and he goes through phases of trying to get out (ends up tipping over) any suggestions?

as soon as the weather starts cooling he goes into hibernation himself. shell is 8 inches head to tail. he has a seperate hot spot to the rest of the enclosure so its only a small area that is heated but altogether he has around 4ft square of floor space, in the summer he lives outside. temps are around 80 - 100f hot spot 70 cool end

it may be a floor space thing, torts never seem to be happy with the amount a space avaliable, especially spur thighs which get to a decent size!
