Tunisian has hatched YAY

Christmas has arrived early

After 62 days the first has arrived, weighing only 7g
Tiny thing

It was such a shock, i was out all day yesterday, i checked in the morning and all was normal then came back at about 7pm and it had hatched i was shocked. No egg yoke at all.

Gave her a bath and she drank for ages

Sorry for the picture quailty but my dog has chewed my camera lead to upload them on my pc. These were taken with my iPhone but you can see the size. I have taken more pictures on my other camera.

Also a horsfield is hatching !!!

Thanks terry. I know pain in the bum or what!! dam dog lol Andrew should have some leads at work i will ask him to bring some home.

Roughly half the hatching size of a typical T. graeca graeca.

I feel on top of the world! not many people manage to keep these tortoises correctly they are very delicate worse than my Indian Stars. To have eggs and hatch them, well i cannot but into words how i feel YIPEEE

What a beautiful teeny tiny Christmas present, amazing to think of anything that small, the size of a tuppence - hey Tamie got a name for this one already!!!

Special things really do come in small packages - congrats and will await more pics
