Default Tell me, Is it just women that keep torts!

Hey,

Im 23 male, Is it strange to keep a tort? Cudnt resist! always wanted one, Never was old enough to know what im doing!
I was soo happy when i first got him!
But. . . My friends, , Say im wierd!!!!

Hey, certainly not! I'm a 27 year old male & I have 11 tortoises!

And today at work, a teenage lad came into the shop & picked up his new Red-Footed Tortoise! He had been coming in for many weeks & asked lots of questions, & has been paying off for a set-up & tort for a few weeks.

Do you think we should start up a young mens tortoise group? hehe

Definatly start the young mens tortoise group!
Its just wierd,
Im dont seem the type to keep torts! Im a raver at the end of the day lol
I hope im the only raver who keeps torts lol

Cool thread, im a male, im 14 years old and I have a horsefield tortoise.

I got him when i was 10 and kept him in a 10 gallon glass aquarium with heatmat, substrate was newspaper and uv when i felt like it

Wised up though, saved like 200 quid and now hes doing ALOt better
