Is it revised at all, or a straight reprint of the original?

Tamie, I have an original copy, but if it has been revised, I would consider getting the update.
Thanks

This is a reprint rather than a new edition. It was done because we had a lot of people requesting it - and copies were being sold at rip-off, crazy prices on Amazon and Ebay (£609 was the record). To prevent that kind of thing we have done one last reprint. This particular book will not be reprinted again, instead, we have some new things coming out over the next 6-18 months.

Obviously, a few things have changed since that was written. We updated all of the dietary advice, for example, in 'The Feeding Manual'. That took account of the most recent data. Some of the taxonomy has also changed, and a few other things in the Encyclopedia reflect what we were doing in 1996 rather than what we do now (for example, we no longer use some of the substrates we used then). That said, probably 90% of it is still pretty much current, especially the disease section. Always a good idea to check on the Tortoise Trust Web Site for the very latest, most up-to-date advice. We do tend to post what (in software terms) would be called 'critical updates' there first.
