brilliant vet all round, but also keeps and breeds tortoises and snakes and owns the prestige pythons website.

One of the best vets I have ever been lucky enough to find, second only to the great Russell Lyon.

Default Reptile vets in Pontefract.

Hello,

I have a Leopard Tortoise, hes 5 years old.

Can anyone reccomend a vets in Pontefract, West Yorkshire?
I could take him to the one in Leeds (Holly House Veterinary Surgeons) but its rather far for me to travel. I have perviousy used Greenwood and Brown for my other pets but not sure how they are with reptiles.
Thank you in advance.

Nicola & Chip x

same here took mine for a check up the other day they were brill and very reasonably priced considering they're the only vets near b'ham (that i know of) that specialises in reptiles, particularly torts.

Default Help!

Sorry Im new at this posting/thread thing so I dont know how it works - I have been an owner of 1 horsefield tortoise for 1 year. I was just bathing him/her and a pink fleshy thing popped out of its anus and Im concerned. It did go back in a moment later. What is this and do I need to take it to the vet?

sounds like you can call it a him from now on

I would say that he flashed you, that isn't his anus but his clocoa, . Start a new thread if you are worried about it but try reading this one first.
