Default turtles heater

hi can you please recommend a good heater for a map turtle,my tank is 3ft. I didnt realise there are so many on the market. thank you

Get one that has a guard, other than that it doesn't make a great deal of difference, lower wattage ones will just stay on for longer than higher wattage ones to maintain a set temperature.

I can't remember what turts you have, but you'll probably be upgrading the tank at some point in the near future, so make sure whatever heater you get can be used in the bigger tank

Item number: 270326062871. hi this is an ebay number for a heater would you please if you have a spare moment check this to see if this one is ok, this seller has lots with different temps and watts, just want to be sure befor i buy it. ( mine is to be a map turtle ) thank you Julie.

That should be fine, it's rated for tanks up to 270 litres and I would imagine your tank isn't that big?

As I said I can't remember what turts you have, but if they are a temperate species that doesn't require very warm water you should find that the heater isn't on very much, if at all.
