Default I have my new tortoise at home now-What do I need to do for them ?

Hi,
I have my new tortoises home and in the box I picked them up in and was wondering what to do next ? They are near a radiator to warm up a bit but not too close !

Give them a nice long soak in the bath to rehydrate them (20 mins+) - lukewarm water just up to the bottom of the shell. Then pop them into their new home and offer them some food.

Dare I ask why, having been on the forum for some time now, you have torts home that you do not know what to do with? Did the seller let you take them not knowing what to do with them? I am frankly amazed How did they get to your house?

lol, only had to read the title and knew exactly how the replys to this thread would go.

now first of all everyone is jumping to the assumption that the OP does not have a set up but they may merely be asking what they need to do, do they just dump the torts in a viv or need to do anything else.

on the other hand the OP may not have a set up and in that case you are all right to go off on one.

the other option is that this is a wind up which is how it seems to me, we will see....

I am never sure with Foggy if he is winding us up. Im sure it was Foggy that did all the research on torts on here and was setting up a web page to help people.
