Default No feeder fishes for aquatic pets??

It seems no feeder fishes selling here? Don’t know why. Is it because of cruel or parasites?
Is it against law to sell it?

They are under medical treatment now for shell rot. They are infected by two types of bacteria when they were kept in a pet store.
Hope they can be better everyday!

not quite sure what you mean by "feeder fish" but if you mean buying live fish say from an aquatic shop just don't say what you want them for, I don't think its ilegal to feed live fish but its not a very popular idea so best kept to yourself if thats what you wish to do.

Yes, I got your point.
But payment for feeder fishes is much cheaper than that for pet fishes… …
I could get 10 feeders for 1 pet fish’s price.

Very high risk of fungal and parasite diseases.

That is why I recommend avoiding them. I know one keeper who lost 30 turtles after buying in some "feeder fish" that turned out to be carrying a really aggressive fungal pathogen.

I know lots of people who breed Guppies to feed to their turts, and various species of minnow. I don't really see the point myself, apparently fish form a very minor part of the diet of most wild turts, there are easier things for them to catch and eat I guess.

I am trying to breed some now! hehe.
I agree with you in the wild, it is almost impossible for turtle to catch fishes. But I just love to see it. the turtle under my husbandry also unlikely to have lot live fish as well, because it is too expensive for me!

Andy, I have to say that although every time your reply disappointed me, I will always believe you and do exactly what you say.
Thank you!

You don't need to "breed" guppies. Stick two males in with half a dozen females, and you'll have 100+ by the end of the month. All guppies do is "breed"
