Smile sexing hermann tortoises

Ive just purchased my third hermann the reptile centre has sexed it as female is this possible it hatched 2007.

I think your tort is far too young to sex, I would wait a couple of years for an accurate opinion.

I agree.

Although s/he looks female now s/he's still far too young to be sure.

The photos are of two separate tortoises not just one im in the process of taking my 2005 male hermann away from them, becacause he keeps trying in on as soon as he wakes up.

Hi again, just to give you an idea, my tort in the picture below is three years old and was incubated to be female, several knowledgeable tort breeders believed female....but to my surprise, only last week my tort revealed himself to be boy, yes out came his tackle!
