Default Japanese Anemone - toxic?

Sorry I seem to be asking a lot of questions lately!
we've got what I think is a large Japanese Anemone in the new garden and I'm trying to find out if it's toxic for tortoises. I can't find my list of toxic plants and can't remember where I found it on the web!
I suspect Japanese Anemone is toxic but just want to be sure.

I didn't know but I've just checked on TortoiseNutrition for you which says...

'All Anemones contain the toxins anemonine and protoanemonine and should be avoided.'

I got mine to move a Camelia that was huge (I had since it was a stick) because it would of been in one of our enclosurers.

Mine asked me what I wanted for Mothers Day... I said an outdoor enclosure building for the two rehomers which is dog proof please.

Wire fence now up (wire dug down into the ground all round the edges), log roll border round, all plants removed that aren't edible, just the gate to build, lawn to dig up, sand digging into the soil and all the torty landscaping to do now. Not much left really.

Bet he doesn't ask next year and I get a bunch of flowers.

He looks happy in his work though doesn't he??
