Default NO change in my eggs

So far it looks like I have another batch of infertile eggs, they were laid on friday 3rd and the incubater is set at 30c with 65% humidity, does anyone know the odds of having either an infertile male or female? Sid is certainly keen but I've never seen his "bits" is it possible that he's not actually "doing it" with Tootsie even after several hours of being with her. I would have expected some change in the eggs by now any ideas

Have you candled them? They may perhaps be infertile but leave them until they smell or explode. I think you can have infertile males, but I have only ever had experience of males who either A.) Are fertile and mate or B.) Don't have any mating instinct.

I re-homed a tortoise named Digger who was old and had been kept with a large spur-thigh who beat him up time and time again- he had severe shell rot and a cyst on his tail from where he had been bitten. He showed no interest in mating at all- probably due to his bad start in life.

thanks Josh, I will keep them for several weeks(eggs) but I have candled them and can't see anything apart from the air sac, no changes anywhere, Sid is certainly keen but to be honest bith my male hermans have flashed and neither of us have ever seen Sid's I also thought I might have seen "it " when he's mounting Tootsie, this is the second set from them and the last lot were all dud's, I suppose it could be a problem on Tootsies part any way if these are all duds I won't try again.

We candled ours and noticed little to no change, it was a complete shock when 5 baby tortoises hatched out, hang in there and fingers crossed.

thanks for that I've seen other peoples photos of their eggs so know roughly what to look for when candling and just thought there should be some change now, but I suppose its early days yet and I certainly won't give up, I kept the others untill way past their hatch date so these will be no different, I would just love to see even one baby hatch
