Default New Enclosure... What Size?

Hi everyone

i have a small outdoor pen for my herman timmy and decided its time to get him somthing bigger.
im about to go into garden and measure a few spots he could go, what would be the minimum size he would need as a fully grown adult?

he is only 3 years now but want to think ahead, he cant have the run of the garden the kids would squash him when they were playing out so i need to build something.

would 8ft x 4ft be big enough?

I would go with 8ft by 4ft for now - the bigger the better. This may need extending when he is fully grown. My horsfields are in an 8ft by 2ft and they are nearly 2 years old

I have started to leave my 2 out now 24/7. It rained quite heavy here last night but they were OK. I warmed them up under the light this morning and put them back outside. You can leave out from Apring to September - if theres a few days of rain then maybe take inside to warm up.
