Whats the smallest Terrapin you can buy in Donegal Ireland?

Does any one know because i think it's the yellow belly but i am not sure & does any one know what size they grow to and what siz of a tank they would need?

Adult female yellow bellies can reach up to 12" - they get very large.
You are looking at around a 4ftx2ftx2ft tank just to keep one adult.
The smallest turtle you can get is the common musk - averaging out about 4/5 inches. Whether you can get one in Donegal I do not know.
Do not be fooled, those cute little babies get HUGE!

They are rewarding pets - but require a lot of care, attention and space!

I know of at least one person who managed to get a Musk in Northern Ireland, generally though the choice appears to be very limited over there, especially outside of the larger cities, most shops appear to have just Sliders which are definitely not small turts!
