hi can anyone tell me if it is ok to put my 1 year old tortoise outside during the day now or is it still come thanks lisaxx

Hi Lisa
The time of year is mainly irrelevant for putting torts outside. It is the sun that warms them and not the ambient temperature. They don't warm up as we do and therrefore so long as there is sun or a warm place for them to return to if needed it is fine to put them out. We can be outdoors and find the temps quite cool wheas if you pick up a tort that has been in the line of sun it will feel quite warm to the touch.
