The thing with outside is SNAILS!

If i were you i would put bottles, like you have on one of them over them if your going to put them outside

They will grow faster then and no chance of snails getting in

at Stephanie, I guess it depends where you live with regard to snails, mine grew immediately and no snails attacked them, good idea though just in case!

Woo... go you... they look brilliant! Definitely ready for transplanting outside.

You know what Will I take my hat off to you... you have done so much to make sure your tort has a happy, healthy life since you got him, you always listen to advice and act on it and you're never, ever arrogant or argumentative. You're an absolute star.

Another good idea, but not too close I guess, the weather in Surrey was so nice today I did my garden and it looks fab, if the weather is good where you live go for it! Good luck!

Maybe its just my garden

They ate all my lupin and i couldn't even put slug pellets out because of the dogs

Slugs and Snails will come out at night and normally when it rains so they may suprise you and eat the lot.

However could just be my garden

Stephanie we used to have snails and loads of them years ago, they would come out in the evening like soldiers and eat all our pretty flowers in the spring, didn't touch weeds though, hence since I don't plant pretty flowers just herbs etc.............. and weeds for my tort!
