Hi
My hermans tort (Greg) has finally started eating now that i have improved his diet, but the last couple of baths hes been in he hasnt pooed and there has been alot of the white substance, and when he is in his table all he does is sit under his heat lamp, i move him to his water bowl but he doesnt drink and just walks back to his heat lamp

The white stuff is most likely urates(sp) and if your tort does not poo for a while it does not matter, she/he might of pooed on the table, when i first got my tort he didnt poo for over a week

If he has preveiously been fed none fibrous food, his gut will not be full as it should me and the newer more fibrous stuff will take a while to fill the gut and pass through the other end. All perfectly normal

I find them very relaxing to watch eating.

on the poop question, mine has a good poop once a week usually in her bath. If I am at work and my daughter bathes her, I usually get a call letting me know what she has done and how much.!!!!!!
