Default Help!! what watt

I have my tortoise table set up waiting for my new arrival my heat bulb is really bright what is the lowest watt bulb I can use?? the 1 in the moment is a 60 watt

Depends on what temps it gives you, the 60W may be ok, best to see what your basking temos under it are and decide then if you need a higher or lower wattage.

Thanks the 60wt seems to be okay but think im going to invest in a ceramic bulb so the kids arnt blinded
