Lucky you! Hope they settle in well for you.

The very best diet for them is plants/weeds, take a look in the sticky at the top of the page there's lots of pics to help you id them. This is a very good food plant list too which also has pics...

Diet and healthy growth

You'll be surprised how many plants and weeds they can eat that you already know I'm sure.

What sort of diet did they have before you got them? If it was very different to a natural diet then it will probably take some perseverance on your part to get them onto a natural diet.

Awww congratulations. Like Tina said have a good read through the stickies with regards to plants and diet things - I bet there'll be loads there that you will know - I'm absolutely useless with plants & weeds but even I knew a few when I started, am getting better now though

If you can give them as natural and as weedy a diet as possible thats the best thing for them. Im sure you'll enjoy them as much as we all do ours

Supermarket salads are supposed to be only used as part of a tortoises diet.
I am sure you know what dandelions look like:0)
This would be a start, and keeping them the way the previous owner did, will help keep them healthy. If you want to make changes it should be done slowly, so you dont stress them out too much.
www.tortoises.net has a downloadable booklet with suitable plants etc, with pictures. Thats after you have checked this site out
