Default Whats your torts favourite treat?

What do you give your tortoises as a treat?

Mine love fresh pineapple!

My old lady loves grapes I hand feed her, but have to be careful she doesn't nip my finger, she has a few times in the past OMG OMG OMG it hurt like hell

strawberry .. she can even smell them (well i think she can) when i normally put food on she takes her time before going over but if theres strawberry on there shes run over (yes run) :P

mine does also like cucumber .. she normally gets that when the weathers hot to keep her more hydrated she likes grape also but id say strawberries her fave

Thats why I've tried pineapple. Full of juice and really fibrous! Just what they need.

although not to pee on your fire but ive heard they maybe acidy

(not sure though so dont take that as law, for all i know it might be great for them as its only what ive read on here and not all is true) but just a heads up

Mine likes cucumber too, not so keen on strawberries but likes the odd sweet tomato

I've always been told to avoid cucumber 7 tomatoes because they can choke on the seeds!
Such a minefield of information & misinformation with tortoises eh?
Suppose all information is to use with your own discretion.
