I got two days ago, fully grown at about 15 years of age.
His shell is a tad up an down, FAR from pyramiding though. His face is a bit bashed up, his single sharp tooth is a tad worn down. When he pulls his head out, the neck has a little red cut. He eats very well, goes VERY fast for a russian (Im talking, put him in a place to roam, and he's a missile, turn your back and he's run off. He poo's healthily, no worms, no parasites. He enjoys wrapping himself up in newspaper, or doing bathing in natural sunlight or a basking light (Loves newspaper more than both though, he tucks himself in that a dozes off.) Does he seem healthy? I've lost my camera, I will try and get pictures up soon. |

EDIT: Woops, oh where from? A reptile, fish, and amphibian store, very good place, everything in their is in a good condition, very clever and nice man, and it's just Zeus, my russian tortoise.

He eats a mixture of weeds, cucumber, veg (Not cabbage and lettuce), potatoes, and the odd bit of tomatoe and strawberry as a little appetiser.
His indoor enclosure is a tad small for him (I didn't expect to get a fully grown one) So whilst I find the money and someone to custom make me a nice large one, he stays in a two floored plastic enclosure, with a basking out lamp for him and a U.V bulb, but he rarely does anything in his indoor enclosure except eat and sleep, he prefers the outdoors ALOT more, where I take him for regular walks, or when I can't walk him around, he has a octagon steel cage with tight netted top, inside he has a wooden house, which I think I might be allergic to xD, and a water bowl. He also has alot of baby sulcatas, I would have got one but I can't guarantee in alot of years time I will have a garden big enough. |
