Default new hermans

ive have been given two female hermanns off my mums friend and i have a few questions
first one is about pyramiding, they both have slight pyramiding not that bad ive seen alot worse, but is there anyway i can help it go down?

Second one is table vs vivarium? they are currently in a 40inchx20inchx10inch
table which i think is way too small so im gonna either get a 6ft vivarium or a 6ft foot table, whats the difference between them, apart from it will be easier to heat and maintian temperature in a vivarium

Heres some pics

thanks in advance
joe

Table everytime with med tortoises. They have so much more room for them to move about. Apart from being more natural.
As for the pyramiding, you cant do anything about whats been done, but with careful diet/hydration/husbandry (right foods and grazing where you can) it can look lessened as new smooth growth comes through.

i find maintaining temps fine but please note i have got 2 bulbs cause of the babies table. i'm not going to bad mouth vivs because i have heard some success stories but just not as many as with the tables. i also think you get a lot more natural light in the tables, which can help keep them awake if you dont want to hibernate (or not ready to)
