you need a ceramic holder that will take that wattage or more, I recently brought a shade/reflector complete with holder/clamp and hanger (you can use either) it cost me £23 and will take up to 200 watt, its made by exo terra. Its a lovely wide shade as the bulbs don't like to be enclosed and its the large one, they come in at least 3 sizes depending on the wattage of the bulb.

I think for the Megarays, it's recommended that if you use an exo terra clamp lamp, don't get anything other than the largest one. The smaller ones don't allow enough air circulation apparently, regardless of the wattage. You can use a wire cage one as well, they'll let even more air in about the bulb.

But I don't use combineds yet, I just remember someone (Graham maybe) saying this

Yep, that'll work but you can also use this one

Exo Terra Glow Light Reflector Lge 25cm PT2056

Just only in the large. The cage is probably better really for airflow though, but this one does reflect which is good too

Thanks for linking to my shop x
These exo terra ones are brilliant because the coating reflects the rays and has a luminous coating meaning when you turn your bulb off there is a slight glow of light. Like in the wild when the sun slow dies down.
I use these large holders for all my tortoises, pancakes, stars, hermanns, iberas, horsfields, leopards etc etc

its the reflector that I brought, as the table is in the front room it stops the light from being seen elsewhere, directs it downwards.

Don't forget these lamps are designed to hang, or mount, vertically. If they sit at any sort of angle it can shorten their lifespan, also the high output in some cases can damage a reptile's eyes if it doesn't come from directly above.
