Default Snails in with terrapins

ok i have loads of snails in my tropical tank and was thinking theyd do a great job at keeping my terrapin tank clean. Is this ok there the little pointy ones havent got a clue what they are but they live in the sand. Thought that this may proide a good source of food for it to forage for as well

your turtle will eat them hun. i breed them for turtle food as they seem to go wild for them. they are a good food for them but they wont last long in your tank.

try and put some in a little tub or something and get them breeding then you'll have a healthy supply of them to feed your turtles.

Malaysian Trumpet snails - great at cleaning your substrate and keeping it turned over... essential if you are using sand as a substrate. And your turtle will love em

My turts go mad for them, especially the Musks, the snails are small enough that they eat them shell and all, I guess they derive some calcium from them.

just leave it a while and see what happens. if he doesnt eat them then at least they will be cleaning the tank for you.
