Default I think their is somthing stuck in my torts throught

Just went to check on my little fella and i think hes got somthing stuck in his throught. Hes not chocking to death just gagging from time to time. Carnt be nice for him. Is their anything i can do for him?

I think if you get hold of his head at either side of the jaw and gently press he will open his mouth, I've never tried it and please don't be rough if you do, but if you can open it you might be able to see if theres something there, has he been given or could have gotten hold of anything that could stick, I'd imagine normal soft weeds plants etc would do that?

I have only give him weeds today, He is a little to small to hold his head. I think ill give him a warm baty might open the tubes a bit and the water might help.

I hope it clears, they can be a real worry sometimes and the babies are so small.

Ahh that seemed to of worked. I wonder if hes eat some of his weeds that have gone a little dry. Iv took them out now.

hi i hope this nothing but open mouth breathing,gapeing or gagging can be a sign of respiratory problems if you have any concerns it is really best if you consult a specialist vet.
