Default horsfield tortoise question

hi i have just bought this tortoise and its beak seems quite long do i have to trim it or take it to a vet and if the vets roughly how much will it be

If you have a piece of slate that you put his food on and some cuttlefish it will gradually wear it down naturally. Mine had quite a long beak too but is fine now

Agree with fishy face

But if it is really too long and you do want it trimmed, take it to the vet, I wouldn't think doing it yourself would be a good idea. But I'm not sure how much it would cost, as I've never (touch wood) had to take mine.
