My tortoise keeps getting his willy out

Hi i have 2005 herman hatchling called linford. Until 2 weeks ago i have had no problems we have been getting on brilliantly, all of a sudden he keeps getting a very large pinky purple organ out of his back end (cloaca?????) i assume it is his willy but it looks funny. i have goolged and people say prolapsed penis, bit he dosent seem to struggle to put it away. Any suggestions???

my large male indian star does this when he is in water it looks almost round at the end very strange but i dont think its abnormal,

Long as it all goes back where it should he's just flashing to you - some males seem to do this on a regulare basis!!!

mine does it too, he does it when we show him some shredded carrot, simple things eh?

OMG MY HERMAN DID THIS LAST YEAR and hes about 30 years old I thought it was just my tort that was strange I left him to wander on my bedroom floor for a few minutes, then when i came back to see him, I had the shock of my life!! i was so worried i thought his organs were comin out lol :P But bloody hell it was HUGE!!

Anyway he didnt just get his schlong out, he did indeed leave a nice white , sticky mess all over my bedroom floor for me to clean up

still have no idea why he decided to do this to me... i think he was excited to see me (maybe a bit too excited :/ ) or he just thought it would be a laugh
