Do you mean a Hieroglyphic Terrapin- Former name of a North American Cooter (Pseudemys concinna hieroglyphica)?

Ok, your mission, should you choose to accept it... is to get a photo of said animal!

Hieroglyphic would be my best guess, but I've heard turts called all sorts of incorrect names, often by people or shops selling them trying to make them sound more exotic, or else just by people who have misheard the name which happens a lot!
