Default New friend for Flanders???

Hi guys, while since ive posted!
Anyway, im toying with the idea of getting a friend for Flanders (my 3 y.o. female Hermanns).
Was just looking for opinions and advice on introducing a new tort to a currently single tort house-hold!
Will she get jealous? Will she enjoy the company?-dont want to put her beak out of joint! Should it definately be another female?

firstly don't forget the minimum 6 months quarantine and you might have a job to find an older tort this time of year as they'll mostly be either winding down or in hibernation. Unless you can know for certain the sex and at 3 its still doubtfull then you have to face the possibility of separating them when they get older if they don't get on, that means two of everything, unless you want to breed then go for the same sex if poss, 1 male/female ratio rarely works as the male could keep pestering the female so again could need keeping separate, I have to do that with my spurs they only go together for mating. Either way theres no promise that they will get on and live happiliy ever after, groups can work if they all have the space to get away from each other so my advice is if you don't have the room/money to keep two apart then stick with the one otherwise you could end up having to get rid of one, many do though keep several with no problems but theres always that 'if' to bear in mind, my two herman brothers are still fine at 4 but I can split them if I have to.

I agree with Ann, unless you really know the sex of the hermans you have, you could be looking at possible problems. Hermans are generally one of the easier speices to sex at around four. So putting a picture up might help for members to try and sex him/her for you.
Two females generally get on, but like most things its not set in stone
Two males and you could/will have problems until they decide who is alpha male. Sometimes fighting continues constantly/sometimes.
For the sake of any female, you need at least three females to one male, to help stop the mating stressing females out.
This is not what you want to hear, but at least you will be informed of what can happen, although it might not
