Well, I thought your name must be Fraser, but it's Matt....explain?

Mine's pretty self explanatory.

True, but you could have chosen Impatience as your username

I usually just use my actual name for everything, but this popped into my head when I registered here, and it just had to be.

I occasionally feed rat pups to the adults as they go down in one go. Waxworms and meal worms are also good, you can also gut load them with calcium/vitamins. Other things people use are tortoise pellets, diet cat food, small amounts of boiled egg or chicken and garden worms. I wouldn't feed small ones rodents, no need to see one getting mashed by a hungry tortoise. Just stuff thats easy to go down in one beakfull. Snails are also an option but can be messy. I wouldn't feed them wet dog or cat food of any type and any pellets you choose to feed would need to be moistened beforehand.

Default limestone powder

If im already dusting my tortoises food with nutrobol is it still worth keeping some limestone powder in their houses for them, dont suppose it matters or does it?

Nutrobal is only 20% calcium, so I always provide a dish of limestone flour for them also.

Also, you can overdose Nutrobal, which in turn will cause renal/hepatic faliure and possibly death.
This is more likely in species kept under high UV, as you can cause vitamin D3 overdose (see notes on the tub).
