Default wind-down and cuttlefish?

Ok, so I have started winding down Speedy Bob, and he is getting nothing to eat, he is in a tortoise table in the spare room and, although I am downstairs I can feel the pleading eyes begging for food!!
anyway, my question is, is he still allowed his cuttlefish? he quite likes his cuttlefish, but its food? should I take it away from him?
Thanks for any help!

I think you will find that cuttle bone will not go mouldy in their stomachs, so is not a problem. I could be wrong
