tortoise substrate
Hi all, I'm upgrading my tortoises indoor home to something larger (our walk in downstairs cupboard is huge) and I've run into a small problem
Basically, I have all my lighting nearly sorted, but I'm stuck for substrate. it's quite a large area, and it still has shelves we use (mostly for rep things) in it, and anything I do use needs to be easy clean. I was going to use a sand peat mix but... it'll be a pain. I'm thinking about using repti carpet, as it seems to be easy to clean and safe, but I'm not sure about how the tortoises will respond to it, and it's not really anything like a leopards natural floor lol. Only other option though is lino, which is whats there at the moment. hm.
Any suggestions would be great
