They take pellets quite happily now too so I give them broken up ReptoMin sticks, but I have to do it one bit at a time as they quickly lose interest if it's just floating around.

The media you've ordered for the filter is fine, no need for anything else, did you get taps with it? If you did then you can use them to restrict the flow while the turt and tank are small, otherwise it could have problems with the strong current that such a powerful filter will create.
Taps, if you mean the things that turn (Think its valves or something then yes)

How much would it eat? i dont want to over feed it or under feed it. how big or small or bloodworms or that daphia (sp)

PS

I dont like the duckweed or the other thing ,makes it real difficult to look for him. Gonna get a little fish net and try scoop it all away. I like the eldeo though and so doe Raff

Same general feeding rules as any other turt, an amount roughly equivalent to the volume of it's head once a day every day for now. The size of the food doesn't matter as long as it can eat it, they will handle quite large prey.

I have a prob wit my filter, put water in it and sucked through, water was flowing fine, after 5-10 mins it just stopped, done the same again and again it stopped,

Any ideas?

Well a large prawn would be too much for one meal anyway, so yes you'd need to cut it up, although he'd probably have no problem tearing it up himself, those jaws evolved to crush snail shells so a bit of soft prawn would be relatively easy!

Half be enough? Would you know how to get the 2217 working proper?
