Well no not really, my dads pond is fibreglass coated and stricktly no plants cause of his precious Koi lol and the other closest thing is the canal which i have to say is Manky!

All cabbages are members of the Brasicca family, and yes I would advise not feeding any of them for the reason I stated earlier.

Lettuce won't do them any harm, and the fibre may actually be beneficial for their digestive system, but otherwise it has very little nutritional value.

Pondweed can be hard to find at this time of year unless you grow your own, but Watercress is easily available at any supermarket or greengrocers, at around £1 a bag it's cheap too. My local greengrocer sells me the slightly wilted stuff very cheap, and the turts don't seem to mind that it's not absolutely fresh!
