Naming my new tortoise, any ideas? :D

we got a male n female hermanni tortoise, my sister called hers herby after that old car film lol, suits him actuallly but i like names that sound nice and mean something.

like:
NENA: meaning darling and grace.
NEVE: meaning "beauty, brightness."
NINA: meaning:

1. Native American Quechua name meaning "fire."
2. French meaning "favor; grace."
3. Russian meaning "favor; grace."
4. Spanish word for a "little girl."

ESTI: Basque name meaning "honey; sweet."
AMARA, means grace. (african)
ZURI beautiful. (african)
DEA: From the Latin word for "goddess."
UMI: Egyptian name meaning "life."
(these i found on a website called 20000-names.com, i named my rat from this site too, Kacey Sayuri- egyptian meaning pretty little lilly)

or does any1 have any ideas, she's lovely, loves her chin and neck being stroked, was worried when first got her as wouldn't eat but is eating, bathing n basking all well now and the male although smallest out of all the breeders 2 yr olds is very healthy and a speedy lil guy lol.

my tortie is called victor, because he seems like one of those dead miserable old men who curtain twitch as he peers out his hide of a morning when i am makin my kids brekky lol.

What tortie is it? I aint read your OP, saw lots of colours and stuff lol.

Does he do anything distinctive? Is he old enough to be properly sexed? do you want him to be a him? or a her?

she's a she lol as far as i know, she's nealry two years old, she loves her chin and neck being stroked, n loves to bathe, unlike the lil male herby who sometimes i have to put him in the his bath because he'd rather not lol.

they are hermans. she is 3" n the male was the runt out of the lot so he's 2"

i like names beggining with N for her, not sure why just think it suits, but what, i want something original, so nothing like nelly lol ..??

nena is ok but any1 think of any others?

and also (nothing to do with this topic) does any1 else have problems when on this site, like it keeps logginf you out all the time, i do and it's rather annoying, more so when i am typing or replying to something and then it says u need to log in when i just did and it will keep doing this about every 3-6 mins GRRR

shouldnt happen every 3-6 mins, its usually every 20 mins or so if uve been inactive on the site.

well long story really i used to look after my tortoise for a german guy cal vlad. then he moved away and gave me his tortoise which we thought was a boy so we called him MR VLAD but we recently found out its a girl so i guess shes now MRS VLAD

it shouldn't be this hard to pick a name, i've always been good at it with my other pets i see them, watch there personality n have a name that day or 2 days later at the most but i've had my tort for a couple of weeks now, we named the male by the first 3-4 days but just cannot think of one for her!

loving her to bits tho, she's adorable and quite graceful for a tortoise which is why i was thinking of nena cos means grace but it does sound a lil strange lol.
