I'm presuming you mean for outside/shed hibernation as opposed to fridge as I use a tuperware box in the fridge but I should think you know what one of those looks like

I bought one of these and I have to say it's really well made and should last for many years. I'd definately recommend if you're box hibernating.

When putting them in the fridge do you still use a box inside a box or straight into the tuperware with some substrate?

No I put some paper towel on the bottom of the plastic tub and then ripped up power towel strips to go around and over - then stuck the tortoise straight onto the bottom paper towel - some people do use soil but I stick to the paper towel as I felt you could see any toilet easier

Thank you. it was just that I thought I had read that you needed a box inside a box, but maye that is only if you are not using the fridge to pop them in. Will have to do some more research before I attempt to hibernate him next year.
