Default Hermit Crabs + Turtles?

Okay, pretty sure the two can't mix but wanted some more opinions on it anyway.

Would I be able to keep red crabs or hermits in with my two musk turtles fish and snails?
The musks behaive very well towards the fish (corydoras) and suprisingly the snails (which I'm waiting to breed to feed my baby musks =])

You wait till those Apple snails breed youll have millions I started with four Ive now supplied local pet shops all my friends tanks (Thats alot of tanks not friends but at least a dozen large Tanks with a good population!) and still have loads in mine.

On the musks I was always under the impression that they leave everything alone. Guessing if they leave fish alone id imagine that crabs would be safe. Just an opinion tho not an answer

Yeah thats what I thought.
Turtles and crabs are quite similar in needs so I don't see why they wouldn't work together?
Some people say about the crabs nipping the turtles. But my musks will accidently bite eachother whilst eating so whats the difference...?

I have two Cooters and a Red Clawed Crab. They are fine with each other. You just need to make sure there is a place for the crab to climb from the bottom to out of the water.

Ive seen both turtles and the crab on the basking spot before.

Also if the crab nipped the turtle it wouldn't hurt them! He has nipped me and it was nothing. Only thing i have had is the crab ate an already dead fish.

Thanks Aaron
Gonna look into getting one! Theres plenty of space in my tank. I have a deep end and a sectioned shallow sandy beach end and a cork bark basking area as well as a few other small land places. :P

How many have you got?
I've only got three so not sure wether they are mixed gender as I understand apple snails are not hermaphrodites like most other snails? Is that right?

Just seen picture of your tank, should be fine. My only worry is, is they wont be able to get over the wall unless the stay on the right?

Thanks mate, taken that into account =]
Won't be getting hermits.
I've seen some little red claw crabs in pets at home that I'm sure would get on fine with my turts and my tank
