Default eheim for musks? Just confirm please?

im using a phone to post this and my whole post just vanished and im well p*ssed off! Long story short....
musk turtle tank, 32w x 12d x15h. 7-8 inches of water.
Wanting and eheim classic, seen a 2215+ for a good price. With the taps etc. Will this be too powerfull for my tank? Do i need the 2217 instead? Will it cope with the low water level?
Im upgrading my tank next year to something bigger, will this filter still be suitable?
My brain is fried with flu and ive read alot of the other posts on here and just got even more confused! So if you could help a sick girl out it would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks.

The 2215 would be adequate for that size tank, but you may need something bigger when you upgrade, if you can afford it I would go for the 2217 now which will probably be OK for the bigger tank too, saving you having to upgrade the filter as well.

If the filters have taps then they won't be too powerful, if neccessary you can reduce the flow by partially closing the taps, there are other ways to reduce the current without reducing the flow rate as well.

Thank you! I was hoping you would reply, you certainly know your stuff! 2217 it is then! I have been doing plenty of overtime lately so I shall add up my pennies!
Thanks again.
