aye doesn't sound good, though the seller might not even realise the problem if their not even into torts.

Who the hell goes and buys someone a tortoise!

Hopefully if they've just got it someone can buy it and give it UV before the lack causes problems, bet it's diet isn't great either. Sadly if it isn't someone from here or another clued up person who buys it, it'll have a pretty crappy life. =(

we have promised our daughter next xmas if she still desperatly wants one we will get one sad to say i dont feel confident enough to allow one in our home yet if doesnt sound too stupid but i really want to know everything i can before we get her get one that way it will have a good life rather than impulse buy
