I don't get called bag lady (yet!) but i do have an alarmingly increasing number of knocks on my front door, followed by through-the-letterbox shouts of 'Can we clap your dog? Can we see your ferret? Oh, look they have fish too!' (it's actually a gargantuan turtle tank, but I ain't telling them that!)

Thank god they can't see into the utility room, to the vast tanks of snails and torty table

And I'm with you Denise, on the graveyard thing

depends on what you look like

Snailgirl is old, shes 26 or something! but she is old crazy snailgirl who walks around picking up weeds to build her nest in the attic where she can camp out and hide from goats...or at least thats what the kids in the playground said!

Why goats? Let's face it, if I was to run away from any animal, it's going to be sheep. I thought that would be obvious...tsk.

And I already have a rocking chair.

It's a short step from there to crocheting rugs and muttering under your breath........

Why do people want to 'clap' your dog? Is he paticularly impressive?

I can only wish I knew how to crochet!

She is quite impressive actually, but clapping actually means petting up in these parts
