Tortoise heat lamp has gone out! Help!!?

have a combined UV and heat lamp and it has ran out 2 months before it was supposed to!! My tortoises now have no heat! How long can they last without heat?
the lamp is a screw fixture, what should I do or use?
p.s I have ordered another bulb it should come tuesday

ant you just go get a heat bulb til then?

I had same issue, got tortie on monday, never got my combi celivered til friday, i went and bought a heat bulb for like....8 quid or something? that was 150W.

Always good to hold on to one so incase this happens least they have a heat source

The lamp is a screw type fitting so do they have heat bulbs in that?

yeha, if your lamp clamp is made for reps. most bulbs you get in shops will fit them. I got mine from pets at home. Most shops sell rep stuff these days, even if they dont sell reps

Just pop in a table lamp hun one that points down ya can pick them up for few quid in asda pop in ya table for now just make sure it weighted down so torty cant knock it over.

Would focus sell them? Also is a spot light bulb the same as a heat bulb?

Yeah focus should do them hun and ya can get the sunglo bulbs from a pet shop for £5 will tied you over till you get sorted even an ordinary 60watt bulb will kick out some heat just point the lamp down.

Even cheaper, just stick a screw fitting spotbulb in your current holder! Tesco do packs of 4 for like £1 or £2
