The petshop is wrong again, they're actually crepuscular, which means they are most active in the early morning and in the evening.

Regular water changes will do until you get a filter, and clean rainwater IMO is the best thing for them, plenty of that around at the moment!

Yay, glad you're getting them They'll be fine until you can get the stuff you need for them. I'd just remove the gravel though, to be safe.

My 2 are pretty active all through the day, it has to be said. I know they bask more when they are young, but I am always catching mine on their corkbark getting some rays

ive had my two musks in a 2' x2' x3, tank with loads of rock work branches and a couple of floating rocks , landscaped with artificial weeds and gravel . the other tank dwellers are breeding kribs, guppies ,platys . they have loads of clamber space to get to the surface and little interest is shown by and to the fish .the musks generally have the speed of a tank and the fish are pretty nifty on their feet so nibbling hasnt occurred in the las yeraq of keeping my set up . as long as your musks are fed regularly i think you will be fine . i love my musks and would obviously change the set up should i have any concern that the fish or turtles where stressed ..... regards gary 10 turtles 3 cats and countless fish

The main problem about putting baby musk in a aquarium is that the water could be to deep, but you can keep them together since as for musk its not essientiel for a dock but you do still have to have the uv lamp. I would suggest for the fish to have hiding places other wise they could become a snack !!!

2 common musk turtles
1 reeves turtle
1 cornsnake
2 cats
3 gerbils
7 stick insects
3 african dwarf frogs
2 chinese praying mantises

I'm guessing a solution would have been found by now as the original post is from 18 months or so ago.

There is a date in the top left hand corner of each post giving the date it was made.
