Mines a bit crude...

I've got a bit of ply, drilled a hole into it, as big as the neck of a bulb, and basically, screwed the bulb into the holder, with the ply in between, then hung the ply over the edges of the tank...

You buy an RCD which then plugs into the main socket in the wall. Then plug your lamp into the RCD socket. It will have test and reset buttons for you to use.

Yes that should be fine. Have a look at any others on ebay cos the prices do vary!
