Default Could i have a cross breed musk?

I bought him as a common musk and he has certain elements of it in him except his shells really pointy like a razor back and his wife that I bought him with is nice and flat it doesn't look like a deformity could he be a cross breed?

Young Common Musks have three ridges on their carapace, the central dorsal ridge is particularly prominent, otherwise the carapace is quite oval shaped viewed from the front. Razorback carapaces are almost triangular viewed from the front.
