Default good cleaner/disinfectant?

anyone know of a good/type disinfectent for a tortoise viv?

I use hibiscrub..You can get it from the pharmacy..but I used milton and wash up liquid for years..wash, rinse and rinse again!

Betadine is another, there are lots around, including the ones already mentioned.
Sounds like you either have a tortoise with worms or RNS.

yep your right it looks like RNS there at the vets can you give me any advise? thanks Were can i get this betadine from is it safe fro torts? thanks

Betadine or the like you can get from the chemists.
Stars are delicate tortoises if you dont get the conditions correct. I have no experience with them, but do know at least two keepers who have kept them. And learnt a little from them. But I dont pass on any advice unless I have experienced it myself. Sorry.

Take out any old redigrass if you use it, make sure there is clean water at all times, and lower the basking lamp a bit to raise the temp - tips i have been given once before when i thought 1 of mine got it, not 100% sure if t was the start of rns to be sure, but did all the above and no prob at all after a few days
