Question on UVA/UVB bulb.
I have just bought a UVA/UVB bulb for my terrapin just wondering how often they need changing?

Is it a Repti Glo compact you have and is it a 10.0? If it is, then they are 6 months, same as the tubes.

In most cases these type of lamps emit a good level of UVB for as long as they actually work, that's certainly true of MegaRays, you might want to see if you can find a shop that has a meter to check it for you after a year or so though, I'd be very disappointed with one that lasted less than that.
