depends on the animals, my friend has a 50yr spur thigh who happily shares the garden with a rabbit. but they are both really chilled

My rabbit and tortoise don't bother each other, if anything the rabbit is a bit scared of the tortoise. The dog also gets along happily with both. However I would never leave them all to have free roam unattended just in case.

I'm with Jazzywoo here

We have 3 rabbits and a 20 month spur thighed. I'm quite sure one rabbit would try to murder the thing - very nervous and kicks/bites out. The second, being into absolutely everything, may cause harm through curiosity. The third, being as dopey as they come, would probably be OK. We keep them away from the tortoise. That said, tortoises have shells for a reason and I bet they've seen off more intimidating species than yer average bunny in their time.

Sec 4 Animal Welfare Act 2006 provides a legal aspect to your question. It's an offence for anybody responsible for an animal to cause it to suffer by act or omission. That's a very wide definition if you think about it.
